1. Using the site
TechLila grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to read the site and use its content for your own non-commercial purposes. You may not use automated tools to scrape, copy or republish the site at scale, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain access to areas that are not public. We may suspend or block access that breaches these terms.
2. Content and copyright
The articles, images, charts, logos and design of TechLila are owned by TechLila or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may quote short excerpts with a link and clear attribution to TechLila. Reproducing whole articles, images or charts, or using them to train or benchmark machine-learning models, requires our written permission. Third-party trademarks and product names appearing on the site belong to their owners and are used for identification only.
If you believe content on TechLila infringes your copyright, send a notice through the contact page identifying the work, the page on our site, and your contact details. We respond to valid notices and remove infringing material.
3. Comments
You are responsible for what you post. Comments must not be unlawful, defamatory, abusive, spam, or infringe someone else’s rights, and we may edit, decline or remove any comment. By posting a comment you grant TechLila a perpetual, royalty-free license to display it on the site. Comments express the views of their authors, not of TechLila.
4. Accuracy and affiliate links
We research and verify what we publish, and our fact-check policy describes how. Technology changes quickly, so an article may be out of date by the time you read it, and we cannot guarantee that every step works on every device. Some links are affiliate links that earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. A commission never decides what we recommend. Details are in our disclaimer.
5. Links and downloads
Links to other websites and downloads are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites or files and are not responsible for their content, availability or safety. Scan downloads before opening them, back up your data before following a tutorial, and read the other site’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Feeds
TechLila offers RSS feeds for personal, non-commercial reading. Using a feed to republish our content on another site is not permitted. We may change or withdraw feeds at any time.
7. No warranty
Everything on TechLila is published for general information and education. You follow tutorials, tips and recommendations at your own risk. The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechLila and its authors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, its content, or any linked site or download, including loss of data, loss of profits or device damage, even if we were told such damage was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid TechLila for the service concerned, which for a free website is nil.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. General
These terms are the entire agreement between you and TechLila about the site and replace any earlier terms. Nothing in them creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra. We may update these terms at any time by posting the new version here with a new date; continued use of the site after that date means you accept the change. Notices to TechLila should be sent through the contact page.
