For those of you new to Apple phones, you may be wondering how to screenshot on the iPhone 11, and really, it’s not too difficult.

How to Screenshot on the iPhone 11

You’re going to want to know how to screenshot on the iPhone 11, so you can share it with your friends and family. It’s an entirely different way of keeping you all connected. Essentially, you would be taking a photo of your screen, but the same phone does all the work for you. It’s much easier than you think it is to do this too.

All you need to do is position your screen so that all the relevant information is visible on the screen. If you can’t fit everything into one screenshot, you could take multiple or even a screen recording. Once your screen is positioned, all you need to do is press the lock button and volume button at the same time. The phone will flash to show a screenshot has been taken, and the screen will shrink down to the bottom left of your screen. Here you can edit the capture. The shot will automatically save down to your photo gallery for you to access when you need it.

How to Screen Record on the iPhone 11

A screen recording is exactly what you think it is. A recording you take off your phone’s screen but, you don’t need another camera for it. Technology built into your iPhone 11 will record the information upon command to save you any unnecessary work. Before you use the screen record feature, you do need to set it up. To do this, just go to Settings – Control Center – Customise Controls and tap the + next to screen recording. This will add it to your control center features.

When you decide you need to take a screen recording, simply slide down from the top right corner of your screen to reveal the control center. You will then be able to select the recording icon, and a 3-second countdown will begin. Once you’ve finished recording, you can press the red icon in the top left corner, under the timestamp. This will end the recording.
